What is a Headcount? A Headcount is a termly submission of the children and hours you are claiming for.
What is a census? A census is a declaration about the Provider that the Council has a statutory duty to submit to the DFE every term.
How do you submit a Headcount and a census? You can submit both through the Provider Portal each term.
You will have until the 29th May to submit your Headcount and Census.

What is an Estimated Headcount? An Estimated Headcount is a prediction of the number of children and funded hours you will be claiming for for the next term.
You can submit your Estimated Headcount through the Provider Portal, you will have until the end of the month to submit your Estimated Headcount.
Late submissions will not be accepted.
